So, how are headphones doing with the 6?

I’m not seeing any threads so I’m guessing pretty good?

Volume control from QCY SX-998 still not working with Version 6.0.

The bluetooth standard 4.0 is already 10 years old and you dont manage to program it right? I dont know any…

Powerbeats Pro work fine with F6 Sapphire Titanium watch on left wrist for both walking and jogging. For audio alerts and music.

Bluetooth 5+ has way less drops than 4X as less interferences and better codecs/processing

I'm using Powerbeats Pro. Sync flawlessly, no dropouts and the pause/play/skip functions work well. For some strange reason I can't get the volume rocker to work with the Fenix 6 Pro and the auto stop when removing earphone doesn't work either but I assumed that is an iPhone thing? Main functionality is great though.

I have Aftershokz Aeropex and Apple AirPods (1st gen) paired with my fēnix 6X Sapphire. I had minor issues with the Aeropex volume control prior to firmware v5 and occasional inability to connect requiring a watch reboot prior to firmware v5.

5.00 and 6.00 production firmware have worked great for BT audio playback without any issues that I have noticed. Basically it has been working great since early December and was acceptable with minor glitches prior.

I had the Jaybird Tarah Pro. When they were paired with my iPhone X no problems but regularly struggled to pair with my Fenix 6. Would get a skip in connection every song and had the usual problems with earlier firmware with volume control also. Luckily in the end they failed completely and I was able to get a refund. The Aftershokz Aeropex I got as a replacement have so far been much more reliable and stable.

I have the 6x Pro paired with the Trex Titanium headphones and that works great. My main issue is sometimes I want to use the Trex with my phone rather than my watch and I cannot figure out how to get the watch to let go so the phone can play. I've gone into settings, headphones, trex, disconnect, but my phone still cannot connect.

Anyone pair their headphones with multiple devices regularly?

Hello Garmin headquarter, maybe you should invest some more money for the bluetooth team or make your software open source, so somebody else could fix it?

I have had the this same issue with these same headphones and the same fix resolves the issue for me.

Im using Fenix6x pro solar with my Boos SoundSport Free wireless headphones and they work fine.. no issues
