Hi, I just got a Fenix 6 Silver today and I saw on the back, etched below gorilla glass and 100m, "315 SS". I wonder what it means?
Could it be related to the military test/certification marketing thing?
I searched for this but had no luck.

I work in manufacturing for luxury exterior products for superyachts, and 316 Stainless Steel is our go-to metal for anything that'll be exposed to sea water. So I was happy to see that Garmin chose this…

You are all right. I apologize, but this font (the back of the Fenix 6) can easily confuse people. I was sure it was written 315 SS, but indeed it is 316 SS. Thank you all for the answers.
Hi,
You also have the basic Fenix 6?
did you upgrade to software 3.0 and are you able to get the watchface as shown below on your watch?
Can you share a photo of the front?
Hi, I have the basic Fenix 6 (silver). I made the update to fw 3.0, nor before the update, nor after, I did not have that particular watch face. I only have 2, and many iterations of the 2 (classic Garmin watch faces).
Thank you very much.
I think this watchface is only for the PRO models.
i'll send mine back and get a PRO.
I have the Fenix Sapphire (not the Pro) and have that one.
That is because the Sapphire and Ti models include all the Pro features.
