Reduction in thickness of the 6x compared to the 5x

So it looks like we dropped about 2.5 mm in watch thickness and I am just wondering how that feels with a mens dress shirt on? With the 5x the watch is too thick to tuck under a long sleeve dress shirt and I am wondering how the 6x fits? Comments welcome

It's not worth to upgrade because reduction in thickness, it depend more how your arm 'swallow' it ,but the screen size is worth every penny. 6xpro left, 5x right.

I dont wear dress shirts enough to notice. I did notice thats it lighter. My eyes are not as good as they were when I was younger. I would say the 6x is a BIG step up in readability from the 5x. Still…

What I noticed most was the reduced weight of the 6X Solar compared to my 5X. Feels nicer on the wrist and not as heavy.

Agree, I notice the lighter feeling vs the reduction in thickness.

Looks great with shirt on - not sure what type of sleeves you refer - but I cant put any watch under the sleeve

Solar 6X (ititanium) with silicone band - 82g
Sapphire 5x plus (titanium) silicone band - 88g
Sapphire 6x with silicone band - 94g
Sapphire 5x plus silicone band - 96g
Sapphire 5x with silicone band - 98g

I still have my 5x, and have compared them. Yes, the 6x feels a bit smaller and lighter. The screen is quite a lot larger. The 5x didn't use all the space it had. It's still big, and I have some long sleeve shirts I have to unbutton to fit over the 6x.

Still during dust/dawn I'll hit the backlight to get better visibility. But there were many many times that without my reading glasses on (which I dont wear while running) that I couldnt read the 5x. No so on the 6x. love that aspect
