Fenix fenix 6 bugs

Couple of bugs I’ve noticed:

1) Navigation: When routing is set to automobile you only get a straight line to destination, not routed along the roadway....

2) Emergency contacts: I selected a contact from my phone book. The app put the contact on the list within the app but said “add international code before number in phone book”. I’ve done that but app keeps saying it and I cannot delete the selection therefore no way out unless I do a full restore!?

Anyone else found any bugs?

Mine is working fine:

I've tried it several times and never had a problem.

Not a "Bug" so maybe something else is wrong with your watch.

No, under battery saver settings there is a 'Status' setting which changes the watch face as I have described above. You turn it on and off elsewhere. Maybe don't answer questions if you don't actually know.

Yes, a couple.

No.1 - after activities the stress stops measuring unless you restart the watch. This is whether you use a heart rate strap or not and has occurred after both walks and runs.

No.2 - something strange on a walk today, heart rate readings became very sporadic suddenly rising from 82 up to around 120 and erratically changing around this for about 20 minutes. Then suddenly went back to normal readings.

Anyone else experienced these issues?

Yes. Time Sync using GPS or using phone does not correct an incorrectly displayed time:

Even though the watch proudly displays "TIME SYNCED," it is still off by 9 seconds.

Syncing with Garmin Express on my PC did finally correct the displayed time.

Definitely a bug.

Another bug: during swimming wrist Hr is a great feature, it would be even greater if the HR was considered in the calorie counting.

It does not make sense that, I swim 800 meters throughout the summer with a Fenix 5s plus and I get every day 320 calories, and now I do the same distance with the Fenix 6, I can monitor the HR during swimming, and I get again 320 calories...

This is certainly a bug...

Is backlight gesture after sunset working for everyone? Sunset/sunrise times are correct, I am not in sleeping hours window. Backlight gestures work if set to on, just not when set to after sunset.

Regarding #2 Emergency Contact you can go into Contacts in the Garmin Connect app and swipe right to delete. The same thing happened to me with the international code error. I had to delete the contact then add it again.

OK, now that it day time (before sunset) backlight gestures (that are set to work after sunset) are working. So the backlight agestures after sunset setting is actulay after sunrise

Bug?

When I do a strength workouts the watch loggs repetitions before I even start doing them. When the timer counts down and the set starts even though I am completely still it adds like 4-5 repetitions. Worked great on my FR935.
