Official hiking trails on Fenix 6

With the addition of ski maps on the Fenix 6 it would be great if official hiking trails would be added on the device at some point as well. Something like this: https://hiking.waymarkedtrails.org

Perhaps this is already possible with custom maps but it would be a huge thing if this would be included in the standard maps.

    Agreed, making it easier/standard to have hiking/biking/multiuse trails included onboard seems almost necessary given the other features. It's disappointing that they did not include the TrailForks maps that are on the new Edge 530/830. Most of the trails in that database are multiuse, plus a lot of people like to use their Fenix for mountain biking anyway. 

    You can load up OSM maps onto the Fenix series, but it's not clear how well they will work with some of the new mapping features.

    The 6 models that come with maps already have the topoactive maps which come with trails. Are you talking about popularity heatmap for hiking activity? The topoactive map on my MARQ is quite good and had all the trails for my recent backpacking trip.

    So far I'm seeing all the local biking and hiking trails show up on the built in maps.
