Epix/Epix Pro (Gen 2) Series System Software 21.19

Hi Garmin team,

Despite all the critical and often understandable posts here on the forum I want to thank you for the continues updates.

I hope the Epix (Pro) will receive many updates in the future.

Thanks!

  • Since the update on my epix gen 2 it will no longer connect with my phone (android samsung S23 ultra). I already disconnect and removed the connection form my phone, but i cannot set a new connection.

I  hold the up button for seconds to see the connection function, but this also without any result, still searching for phone connection.

how to solve this problem. Any suggestions.

  • Giving some positive feedback - yesterday I tested the Epix Gen 2 Optical heart rate sensor on a steady run against the Apple Watch Ultra with a Coros external heart rate strap.  Firmware 21.19. Epix Gen 2 agreed with the AW to within 1 or 2 beats. I was somewhat surprised!

  • yes, at the moment overall is the best firmware release, better body battery readings, barometer, training load, optical HR, looks like all the issues from before has been fixed from my exp till now

  • I cannot sideload .prg files to EPIX\Internal Storage\GARMIN\Apps any longer.  I can copy the PRG to that folder and when disconnected it reboots (like it should) but the app is not listed.  Have used this many times in the past but it has stopped working.  It it working for anybody else?

  • I guess it measures if you have some differences in breathing. For example you would have with sleep apnea. Uses the ogyxen sensor to "guess" for bad breathing patterns I guess.
