This problem occurred in the Epix and Epix Pro series (Of course, there may be a problem with the Fenix 7 series as well, I don't know) in the form of initial activity such as hiking or walking, the heart…

hello @eezytiger what firmware release do you use in your device? i found that 20.22 is very stable
I'm on 20.22. The watch works well for me, but if you look at the change log they are repeatedly fixing things that should not have been touched or become broken.
I should add that I always use a chest strap and Stryd, so many complaints by others regarding HR and distance/pace do not apply to me.
i agree, they must focus in improving features instead to add new ones that doesnt matter
the optical HR sensor worked perfectly to me, near identical as my chest strap, that i only use when i have sprint intervals
I agree but I rather have updates and fixes than no fixes.
yes, i found 21.19 stable release very good, better than 20.22, so im glad
Fenix 7 Series will continue to receive updates, but no more new features.
the real issue is why Garmin doesn't communicate clearly about the lifecycle of theri devices ?
Hello, did you have any problems with the heart rate sensor before this update? Because in some sports, I and many of my friends suffered from the inaccuracy of this sensor, and the problem was not resolved until the last update.
i had none issue about the HR sensor, it has its limitations because of it very nature, when i going to do steady easy runs, tempo i use only the watch with its sensor, when im going to do sprints intervals i use chest strap, i compared in many runs both optical sensor and chest strap, and are almost identical, unless there are sprints intervals that needs a chest strap, is fixed yours in latest 21.19?
