I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. For this, there are a few steps I would recommend trying.
If the issue continues, I would recommend contacting Garmin Product Support.
the stripe is visible everywhere, on all screens. resetting to factory settings did not help solve the problem.
Of course it did not, it is hardware issue.
