Saw Vivoactive 6 is getting a smart wake function, will we get this on our Epixes?

Do not expect anything else for F7 Series, Garmin never communicate officially because Pro Tactix and MARQ models are always sold on their website.

Most likely no because Garmin has been stopping feature updates for Epix and Fenix 7 to stimulate sales of newer watches.

Since the VA6 is pretty much an old watch from the hardware side with some SW improvements, Garmin could probably give the smart wake to at least every watch that sports an E4 HR sensor. But Garmin being Garmin, especially now with the just implement subsccription cash grab, I would venture to say that probably F8 owners are getting it and maybe the FR 965/265 owners since Garmin needs to reduce its old device stock until they release the 975/275 generation.

+ the whole Marq line (titanium+carbon+damascus steel) is still sold, at crazy prices. No meaningful software updates for these devices though. Crazy.

The Vivoactive 6 got the same new OS as the Fenix 8, I guess. possibly the feature is bound to that...
