Would you buy the phone then with the promise that it could work in three months? Or would you rather wait those three months or buy a different phone?

Autodiscover is buggy, but not removed. But you wouldn't have bought your Fenix 7 for this future, indeed. So I didn't with my Epix Pro. And currently I'm thinking about leaving Garmin products alltogether for some time.

But if you look at the competition - all have their bugs and flaws, sadly...

Of course you are right. I don't know how it is exactly with other manufacturers, but Garmin's approach to software development is tragic, and they have such a great community and testers in the Beta Program

Yeah now it is and it is underwhelming. My resting heart rate is too low for it to tell me anything useful.

But at the time I bought the Epix Pro it wasn't and only the Elevate 5 presence hinted that it might come...
