Since the official version 17.20 for Fenix 7 and Epix 2 there is an issue with the activity power manager.
Since the official version 17.20 for Fenix 7 and Epix 2 there is an issue with the activity power manager.
The watch starts all activities using the standard mode even if a user has defined a specific one.
As an example, this is problematic for people who are going to run an ultra and and have not noticed the problem because their watch risks running out very quickly.
But there are other blocking use cases. e.g.: GNSS accuracy, display settings, music or no, phone or no, sensors or no.
The problem has existed since 17.12 (a beta version).
