Default Power Mode broken by 17.20

Epix 2 17.20 has changed the default power mode in activities to Normal. The menu says it is Max Accuracy in settings, but when starting the activity it reverts to Normal. I can change manually in the activity menu when queueing up the activity. Can you please patch? Thanks.

Update July 3, 2024:

Our engineers are aware there is an issue with the Power modes. They are still actively investigating this concern. It has been escalated in hopes that this can be resolved quickly…

Same here. I was reviewing the run map after 17.2 and saw it was very rough and not accurate at all. Did some googling and ended up here!

thanks. Custom Power modes are definitely broken on 17.23. For example, in my custom power mode I use for strength I have always on display set to off, since the update the display is just always on (reverts to normal power mode). Hopefully a fix soon, thank you

I have this issue with software 17.23 on a Fenix 7 SS. Default power modes for activities are ignored and defaults back to Normal mode.

On my Epix 2 (17.23) it defaults to "Screen Off" on all activities, not "Normal". I can, however change it in the quick menu after I opened the activity, before I actually start it.
