Beeping of watch on mtb training, occasily starting flashlight without knowing why

HI, is my watch bugged? when i do mtb training, every now and then it beeps and begins somehow a new lap. I don*t want it to do this. How do i fix this?

The other thing is when i wear the watch occasually the flashlight function activates. Is there a way to deactivate it completly? (thats why i can not wear the watch at work, because the flashlight function always shines in red all over the place)

There are only 2 ways to activate the flashlight (see picture)

Also, if laps are happening every now and then, they must be triggered by the lap button (or its not now and then, than you have enabled…

It seems you are pushing buttons unintentionally. In both situations you are describing.

I would suggest to mount the watch on the handlebar.

sry randomly activating the watch with my wrist when i wear the watch in a way no button can be pressed, is bull****

a) unintentionally pressing the buttons

b) your buttons are broken and do "push" even if there is no contact

You are dealing with this for over 11 months now. Have you contacted Garmin for a replacement?

you could always use a hotkey to lock your watch - that way you could easily confirm if its a software/hardware issue or you accidently pressing button.
