11 days battery life

I bought an Epix a couple months ago and I've noticed that in gesture mode I'm only getting 11 days of battery life max from a full charge. Meaning the estimated battery life. The actually battery life is actually less.

I'm curious why I've seen others mention 16 days. Does anyone actually see 16d remaining after fully changing their Epix? If so, what settings could be causing mine to show 11d.

  • Your comment was not helpful and you wrote it because you didn’t know

And the solution was available in any one of the numerous other posts asking the same question. Note also, that if you have a problem it always pays to provide a little more information and search for a solution first.

days. If a person buys a new Epix, doesn’t change any settings

It in this case the Pulse Ox setting had been changed from on to off.

BTW, I do like the edit made to the original post in response to the answer you received.

  • Phil. Basically you didn’t know the answer so you thought you would give some smart comment when anyone that had seen the issue ( not you obviously ) could answer it.

And no it doesn’t pay to spend time searching for a solution when someone can give a quick no nonsense non judgmental answer in a couple of sentences. I mean that’s what people are on the forums for isn’t it???

Point me to one of the “any one of the numerous other posts asking the same question”. Specifically for Epix, 11 days of battery life instead of 16 days, with no reference to "Pulse Ox", because I had no idea that was the issue before posting here. Link please.

It in this case the Pulse Ox setting had been changed from on to off.

No it had not been. It was flipped to ON by default, which was the issue. I flipped it to OFF, per the suggestion Chris made, which resulted in 11 days of projected battery life changing to 16 days of projected battery life.
