Epix 2 battery drain 9:36

Updated to 9.36 but the issue still remains. Using Garmin stock face, gesture mode. Garmin gives me 14 days but battery only lasts 6 days.

I’ve tried everything I’ve read on the forum ( reset, etc…) and battery it’s still the same as the 9.33.

very sad…

  • I see no reason to update to problematic software version when it is obvious that some users have severe battery drain issues after that.

I have sporadic issue with battery drain on v8 - reported to Garmin and all I got was default reply. I do not need what seems to be regular battery drain on version 9.

  • Does resetting make you lose all metrics history (HRV and such) and all paid apps/faces?

Since you are posting about problems experienced by others (but not you) in both the fenix 7 Series and Epix (Gen 2) forums, are we to assume you own examples of both watches?

Or do you own neither and just enjoy trolling?

    Inquiring minds need to know.

  • Is probably an Apple troll

  • HRV will start again....

You can back up some things like this also

  • I own Fenix 7. Epix 2 and Fenix 7 share same issues with battery drain, swimming distance and some other problems.

You do not even know what trolling actually means, otherwise you would find yourself in that definition.

Anyhow, my reply to another user is factual and correct.

You on the other hand did not provide reply to the user, but are try to stop me from speaking about bugs that obviously exist. Interesting Slight smile

  • Not that it matters, but I strongly dislike apple watches. As well as their fanboys who believe apple should only be praised instead of objectively looked at.

I think you are having a problem distinguishing between reality and perception.  Also, you are purposely misleading in your statements.

For example, you state, "I own Fenix 7. Epix 2 and Fenix 7 share same issues with battery drain, swimming distance and some other problems."  But you, yourself, have not experienced any of the problems you post about because you are not running software version 9.36.  You may indeed own both watches, but you are not experiencing the problems you post about - you are repeating hearsay.

I am running software version 9.36 on both my tactix 7 and epix (Gen 2) with no unusual battery drain issues.

You, on the other hand, have no idea how your fenix 7 or epix (Gen 2) would behave with 9.36.

It is not helpful for you to amplify opinions of others without firsthand experience to back it up.  Speak freely all you want about your own experiences, but please, stop trolling with your negative opinions about what others have posted without any personal experience or suggestions about how to improve the problems YOU have experienced.

    TIA

  • Yeah, this thread exist with same issue in garmin forums for all new garmin watches after update to latest software (or 2 latest) versions because of me Slight smile

Keeping silent about isues caused by software is not good. I have had more than enough experience to be able to affirm that.

This forum is not only about you and me, it is about sharing information. No matter how much you would not like them to be shared.
