Alpha 9.22 update for EPIX2/FENIX 7 series released.
Alpha 9.22 update for EPIX2/FENIX 7 series released.
I feel like there's plenty of people not on the Alpha boards and don't fancy risking some of the potential issues by installing it on their watch but are still interested in what's coming. Ultimately,…
I really like the new version, especially the way tracks are displayed on the watch. Much easier to recognize.
I created a few more pictures.

I really like the new map!
So what? It’s not a public release.
So what? Wasn't aware of the update as I am not following daily the alpha forum. The hint saved me time. Thanks.
If you’re part of the beta program then sign up for the announcements. That way you’ll save even more time as you’ll get to know as soon as the rest of the beta program.
Sorry, please stay respectful in your answers.
He’s been on this forum for years. Don’t take it personally, he is sarcastic to everyone. His last name must be Garmin.
I respect that English might not be a first language for some but since when has advising a poster how to save time disrespecful or sarcastic??
As much as i agree with you, i don't understand why you need to argue about stuff like this.
There are no strict rules regarding the threads and looks like similar threads can still be helpful for other users.
There are no strict rules regarding the threads
You're absolutely correct. But it gets confusing when people on alpha/beta software begin discussing problems without the information that they are on alpha/beta software, as happened in the past. And since there are likely to be many more problems with beta software than public release, this public forum can very quickly get swamped, subsuming issues people might be having with the latest public release (currently 8.37) Far easier and less complicated for posts about beta software to be contained in the appropriate fora where Garmin are focusing their attention to fix those issues. That, after all, was the principal purpose behind Garmin establishing the beta program.
It's not a question of rules, rather a desire to have some sense of order making it easier to see where the problems lie for both Garmin and users.
I feel like there's plenty of people not on the Alpha boards and don't fancy risking some of the potential issues by installing it on their watch but are still interested in what's coming. Ultimately, I expect everyone here is not a child so is able to decide for themselves if they want to click a thread with anything Alpha related and those that really aren't interested will just scroll right by and pretend it doesn't exist.
I get why some might feel that all Alpha chat should remain in the Alpha forums but I think one or two finding their way to the normal forums is a good thing for those that have a passing interest. There's not a huge amount of activity anyway so it's nice to have something else to browse.
