I think this has been asked before but any info on a possible 51mm Epix in the near future? If Garmin made one I'd buy one immediately. Just curious.

I heard a 75mm Epix is on the work. Codename "Orkish Epix".
Garmin do have a solution for larger wrists they worked out with Apple, but I find it's not very practical as it comes off easiy
The screen is better then Epix though, and accepts a full SIM! GPS, music…
A little off topic but while I sit here waiting for an Epix in 51mm I decided to get a Quatix 7X Solar and absolutely love it. I think it's a real sleeper when it comes to a Garmin fenix 7 type watch.…

This one is 65mm so should keep most people happy.
I have an epix 2 from a 6x. I have big wrists so the feels small...but like the weight and now can sleep with no problemo.
A 51mm epix will come and I will buy!
How would you compare the readability of notifications (incoming texts, phone calls) between the 6x and Epix?
I'm a runner and so like many, have tiny arms. I call them my T-Rex arms because all my muscles are below the waist. Anyway....the biggest thing I was worried about what the 47mm size being too big. And on me, it still is but I've gotten used to it.
As I work in marketing, I'm going to say the Epix 2X/51mm version would come out this fall, if ever. Or when the Epix 3 comes out (next year maybe), there will be a 51mm variant. One thing you got to realize is that with all the tech and components jammed into 47mm, they might already be limited to what new features they could offer in a 51mm version. It's counterintuitive rational there, but it's possible.
On the other hand, it would basically be a Fenix 7X with the Epix 2 (or 3) screen. If they do release it, I'll say it will cost $1099 or even $1199 at the high end. One other thing is they may not want to canablize sales of the Fenix 7X. Or the sales of the 7X have been much lower than expected and they judge a 51mm Epix 2 not worth it.
Prefer the epix as the icons showing what messages are coming through are so much clearer. haven't noticed any issues in terms of readability on either watch.
A little off topic but while I sit here waiting for an Epix in 51mm I decided to get a Quatix 7X Solar and absolutely love it. I think it's a real sleeper when it comes to a Garmin fenix 7 type watch. It has a the nice stainless vented titanium band and can be worn business casual or even a little dressier and not look totally out of place with the titanium band. It's no Rolex Submariner but I'd rather wear this. LOL Nothing against the submariner (I don't own one) but I prefer my other somewhat higher end watches for more formal events.
The Quatix 7 is a real nice looking watch! I really dig Garmin's "niche" watches. Sadly, I'd never be able to utilize them.
Yeah, I’ll never use the boating features or the other 90% of things it can do just like my fenix 6X Plus. I use it to track workouts and health stats. I just like the looks of it with the titanium band. I have a boat but no Garmin instruments and I boat on the Ohio River so there’s that. Lol
I also just started a new job so this is my present to myself.
Most likely on its way?
