I think this has been asked before but any info on a possible 51mm Epix in the near future? If Garmin made one I'd buy one immediately. Just curious.

I heard a 75mm Epix is on the work. Codename "Orkish Epix".
Garmin do have a solution for larger wrists they worked out with Apple, but I find it's not very practical as it comes off easiy
The screen is better then Epix though, and accepts a full SIM! GPS, music…
A little off topic but while I sit here waiting for an Epix in 51mm I decided to get a Quatix 7X Solar and absolutely love it. I think it's a real sleeper when it comes to a Garmin fenix 7 type watch.…
Ask Garmin and let us know. Nobody here will know.

Yeah, let's go!!!! Battery would probably last a year. When's the release date?
My F6x pro goes on ebay the day the Epix 2x is announced.
I seriously hope not, given Garmin's tendency to put extra features in their larger variants which aren't available in the 'normal' and S sizes.
I still don't get Garmin's 'mm creep' and the fact that their watches are aesthetically designed for large wrists (the lugs, especially). I'd have thought that given their target audience, *most* of their users would have had average or less sized wrists. I know it means they can cram a larger battery in, but there's got to be a balance and I already think many people's look too big on photos I see (as an accepted rule of thumb, if the lugs overhang the wrist or the strap goes "straight down" from the lugs, then it's too large).
I do get that it's a personal choice though, and there are plenty of customers out there with larger wrists,
Why would you have a problem with more options for people who want them? Just because you think they look too big?
The reason I want a 51mm version is because I have trouble reading the fonts on the smaller version, and one of the most important aspects of the watch for me is the ability to see notifications, etc. The combination of the Epix screen and the 51mm size would be fantastic for me.

Unfortunately bigger display means bigger resolution and not bigger fonts most of time.
I do assume a 51mm Epix XL (and a smaller S) could be in the pipeline as Garmin got already the cases made for the Fenix line.
I just like the larger watches. I compared an epix with my 51mm fenix the other day and just know I wouldn't be happy with the smaller watch at this point. Plus I think you would get better battery life which is always a plus. I don't need crazy battery life and tend to charge my fenix when I'm in the shower and pretty much keeps it topped off. But I think an epix in 51 with that display and would be awesome!
I’m all for options which is why I said in the first part of my comment that it’s annoying when Garmin ties features exclusively to a particular size. I get that sometimes that’s down to pure physics, but it’s not always the case.
And then with the lines where there is no S/X size option, Garmin generally seem to design for large wrists (MARQ seems to be an exception) that I don’t think the majority of their customers have, judging by photos I see online.
