Epix 2 music quality is terrible

Hi!

I have purchased my Garmin Epix 2 device a few days ago and testing it. I have discovered a deal breaker issue for me that synced music quality with Spotify is extremely terrible. I hope this issue will be resolved soon with a software update. Are there any news regarding an update? I see that Fenix 7 users have similar problems. I have a high quality bluetooth headphones and have no issues with other devices. Also, syncing to the watch was also a headache as the app crashed multiple times. Thanks.

It might be Spotify, I loaded music from iTunes and it sounds fine.

I don't have Spotify, but my Amazon Music is working perfectly and sounds amazing and syncing was no problem. Plus, this screen with the album covers looks fantastic. So, maybe it is just Spotify? Anyone reporting problems with Amazon?

I'm not a big user of the Music features but did have a couple of Spotify playlists on my F6x.
Downloaded the same to my Epix yesterday and went for a walk with music on, OHR and GPS (all systems multi band). I can't say that there is a difference between my Epix and F6x, quality is equal. I'm using a pair of Jabra Elite Active 65T.

Using Epix2 with Deezer and also tried some different headphones. Sound is good, no problems for me.

For those who prefer to install the Beta software vs. waiting until the upcoming official release, the Beta that is proposed to be the next official release, can be installed now that addresses the Audio Quality issue.

Same problem here. Installed Amazon Music today, downloaded few playlists and paired my Jabra Elite Active 65t. Sound quality is very bad if not aweful. Lots of metallic interferences, impossible to turn up the volume.

I thought the quality sounded good, but for some reason I only had sound out of one side of my headphones (left). The headphones work fine when connected to other devices including on my forerunner. Anyone else have issues with that?

Yeah, same here. Almost perfectly captures the sound of a broken headphone - ever present crackling/white noise for discordant/distorted guitars or drum hi-hat/cymbals. Pretty unbearable.

I also thought my AirPods where dying and double checked with my iPhone to see that it’s the watch with *** output.
Bass and the middles are ok, but the Hights are clipping like broken headphones. Can’t see to send any direct message while using the forum on my mobile Garmin - ChrisChris
