Hi,
I'm curious if anyone has Slate Steel. I know there are technical differences between that watch and the other versions but I'm mostly just curious about the material. I can't determine how it's different other than color?
Thanks!

Well... you know, of course, that most of your questions are answered by looking at the Specifications for the watch on the Garmin web site, right?
Anyway, the Steel version case only weighs 53 grams while…
Morning, all…here is a pic of Slate with the chestnut leather band. Classy combo for virtual meetings in a polo, works fine for working out too!
Thanks, and here is a pic of the slate/strap combo while “desk diving.” The orange hue matches the band nicely.
And trying to find good quality bands with matching buckles is proving hard. You can get the Marq silicon ones but they are £80!
FYI, the MARQ QuickFit 22mm Black Silicone Strap (Part# 010-12738-05) does not fit the epix Gen 2. I know, I tried it.

Really thanks for that. I’d buy the chestnut with the titanium buckle that would go ok I reckon.
Very easy to swap out the buckle with a couple of Torx drivers.
Where can you get the spare buckles from?
The brown leather band buckle matches the slate steel bezel
But I don’t have the brown leather band lol
Maybe Garmin support can sell or send out spare buckles only?
How about they sell quickfit bands with different buckle colours!
I found it odd that Garmin didn't release a titanium version that was similar to the F5/6. I love the raw bezel versus black but couldn't find a way to make the white body work in any a work environment. Would have liked to have better GPS and more storage but happier with the style I prefer as saving 100.00 ;)
