Hi,
I'm curious if anyone has Slate Steel. I know there are technical differences between that watch and the other versions but I'm mostly just curious about the material. I can't determine how it's different other than color?
Thanks!

Well... you know, of course, that most of your questions are answered by looking at the Specifications for the watch on the Garmin web site, right?
Anyway, the Steel version case only weighs 53 grams while…
Morning, all…here is a pic of Slate with the chestnut leather band. Classy combo for virtual meetings in a polo, works fine for working out too!
Thanks, and here is a pic of the slate/strap combo while “desk diving.” The orange hue matches the band nicely.

I'm thinking of getting the Ember orange silicon strap too.
I am curious, can you change the colour of the orange aspects?
If you are talking about accent colours on the watch faces then yes you can lots of different colour options.
Thank you :)
And here is a pic with the Vachetta strap…nice tone of brown!
Got the Marq look with the Epix screen now :)
Does the black buckle not clash with the silver bezel and grey sides?
Hi, I hardly notice the buckle as is on the underside but I see it differs from the Fenix 7 32 gig sapphire buckle offered on the UK store by its buckle color. Here is a comparison of straps I have…I think the chestnut is a better match with the orange screen accents than the Vachetta, as well as lighter on wrist. The Vachetta feels a bit more premium. I like both better than the included silicone strap, but at least that can get wet with no worries.
That’s my worry that the black buckle will annoy me I’m a bit OCD LOL
And trying to find good quality bands with matching buckles is proving hard. You can get the Marq silicon ones but they are £80!
