Sapphire edition problem?

So given the choice, sapphire is still better?

For resistance: yes.

And the sapphire Epix has 32 gb memory and multi band gps (and costs more as a non sapphire Epix, but it’s worth), the non sapphire not. 

Sapphire definitely reduces visibility of the display indoor for Fenix 6X, outdoor it is fine. Therefore I was reluctant to order sapphire version of Epix. However with the OLED display visibility is even indoor very good. Therefore no regrets to go for this option especially given the extended memory and multiband GPS which is not offered on the non-sapphire version. 

The multiband option reduces battery life and so far the evidence is that it hardly improves accuracy over the multi-gnss in the steel version. 
The reality is whatever Epix you get the gps performance is miles better than the previous models.
