Has the sapphire version of Epix2 the same problems of reflections as sapphire versions of Fenix 6 and 7?

With this display, I can’t imagine reflections being any less of a problem.
Not at all - stunningly clear, contrasty, high resolution color display.
I do not know about prior models but I ran in bright sunlight today and the display was easily visible, and I have brightness on the lowest possible setting.
I would be interested in hearing from someone who has seen both versions, sapphire and glass. Seeing all the user feedback from the sapphire version Fenix complaining about the reflections, I would expect the glass version of the Epix to be superior regarding readability vs Epix with sapphire. I have a glass version of the Fenix 6 pro, and I don't have a single scratch on the screen, so scratch resistance isn't really a concern for me.
The AMOLED display on the EPIX Gen 2 makes this a non-issue with the EPIX.

With the Sapphire fenix versions, the MIP LCD display relies on light transmitted through the crystal to the display and then reflected back through the crystal to be viewed by the user. In other words, the light source is outside the watch - the display legibility will vary depending on ambient light.
With the EPIX (Gorilla Glass or Sapphire) the light source is inside the watch (the AMOLED display) and only has to pass through the crystal once. It is bright and clear under ALL ambient lighting conditions.
HTH
It's as Gaijin said above. The screen is so good that I checked the back of the watch to ensure that it *is* sapphire. It's a seriously good display - in all light levels.
So, to understand, with an amoled screen there are improvements in vision with the sapphire or is it like the classic screen? Thanks
Hi. I have never had a Garmin in sapphire glass, I wonder if in addition to the issue of resistance, it is true that it also improves the vision of the display. Or is it a legend?
Resistance: yes
improves the vision on the display: legend
But the amoled display of the Epix is so crispy, that the legend does not matter.
In the F6 series forum (and I think in the F7 too), there are somewhere pics of comparing sapphire and gorilla glass displays.
