I’m wearing the Enduro3 for two weeks now and I feel it’s a old buggy watch in a nice new jacket. Garmin literally told me to be patient for future updates and these bugs are normal in this fase??
The workout screen is different than my old FR245. It shows the current pace and not the average pace. Which means it beeps every second during strides or shorter intervals as the watch can’t keep up with calculating (which makes sense). I had to tell my trainer to change my workouts without a pace range because of this.
There’s tons of settings for voice commands, but I didn’t buy a Fenix8 for a reason. I don’t want to carry my phone for voice commands. Just give me options to set individual alarms/signals for stuff I actually use (navigation or workouts etc).
There’s suddenly no auto zoom?
There’s setting in the manual (type of marker for example) which are not on the watch
The maps respond reaaally slow.
Today it started recalculation the route when I was still on a (self made) course but it wanted me to return because that was closer to the starting point. I only want it to recalculate when I’m actually off track.
on the other hand, during one hike I went off course three times and it never recalculated
During one run the map just disappeared
On today’s workout it didn’t record my cadance while it did record ground contact time etc. So the cadance should be there as well ?
love the battery life and the looks, but that doesn’t justify the €900,-
Am I the only one thinking this actually isn’t such a great update (which I initially thought it was)?
