Since Tuesday, it no longer shows my hill score even though the device has been on my wrist for the last four days and I've climbed at least 3500 meters. How can I fix this?

22.41 Music dropouts - again?

Since a while I was listening to music stored on the whatch without doing any activity. My arms were not moving.

Everey now and then I experienced massive dropouts of about half a second.

Obviously there still is at least one process with a higher priority causing this?

Allow units to be selected in treadmill calibration

I would really like it if the treadmill "calibrate and save" feature allowed me to select the distance units (km/miles) when setting the distance.

For whatever reason, in my gym (in a metric EU country) the treadmills are set to miles (nobody knows how to charge it. I've given up). Since I run in Kms, I have to do the conversion each time before saving. It's obviously not a huge deal, but is annoying.

I run on different inclines, which seems to throw off the distance quite a bit.

I imagine though that using a treadmill while travelling and needing to calibrate is a pretty common thing to do.

(Incidentally I have an enduro 3, but don't see an option for that)

Music control bug

I haven't been able to switch to a next track, nor pause playback on any music app on my device for a few beta updates.

Music provider>Control Phone.

The "main" screen with the icon and the artist/track shows, and animates.

When the buttons are pushed, no animation, no action. When I press the middle (left) button with the dots, I get the settings menu, with the mini controls with the gear present. THESE controls work. Very odd.

On 23.19B now, still an issue.

I'm a firmware/dev person of 25+ years and know how to troubleshoot, haven't went the full gamut...yet. But.

Phone(s)- Galaxy S26 Ultra Snapdragon, USA.

Tried re-pairing
Tried on my partners phone, same thing. She has a Instinct Solar 3 and the music control works.

The only thing I could think is that somehow theres a wrapper/hold that is lording over these controls. I have a playback aware app I did develop that pulls current track/artist and syncs to a e-ink display. Outside of that, I can't think of any other software based issue. This app isn't present on my partners phone, though.

If ya'll investigate and can't reproduce, I'm happy to continue on down and backup/factory reset my device to further troubleshoot

Grit/Flow for eMTB enabled but no settings to disable

So over the last two eMTB rides, I noticed Grit and Flow stats in Garmin Connect for these rides.

I'm almost positive I remember seeing the option to disable/enable these at the very least in the MTB profile, but I can no longer find this settings in MTB, eMTB profiles, or any other for that matter.

Where can I turn this off?

Enduro 3 unusual battery behavior after firmware 22.41

Hi everyone,

I would appreciate your opinion to understand whether this could be a bug or perhaps an unexpected battery performance improvement introduced with the new 22.41 software update (although I honestly doubt it).

I have owned a Garmin Enduro 3 for about two years, and when used in normal watch mode, the battery consumption has always been around 3% per day.

A few days ago, I installed the latest update. During a hiking activity of approximately 4 hours, I accumulated around 275k lux hours. What surprised me is that the battery remained at 100% even during the following days, despite not recording any activities.

To investigate, I activated the flashlight function, and with that enabled the battery level started to decrease normally. The same happens during activities: the battery percentage does go down, but much more slowly than before. Now it seems to consume only around 1.5–2% per hour during activities, whereas previously the consumption was higher.

In watch mode, it now appears to use only about 1% per day.

So my question is: could there be something wrong with the battery reporting or calibration, or did Garmin somehow improve the battery efficiency of a watch that was already known for its excellent battery life?

I am asking because I would not want to rely on an inaccurate battery estimate and then experience an unexpected shutdown, even though I always carry a backup power bank with me on longer trips.

I would really appreciate your feedback and to know if anyone else has noticed similar behavior after update 22.41.

SOLVED: Training readiness disappeared without obvious reason

Sleep, HRV, Stress everything was recorded for endless weeks.
Why does Training Readiness suddenly disappear? How can it be restored, without waiting for three more days?

Does anybody know where the "readiness data" is stored on the watch?

SOLVED: I deleted the watch from the connect app and added the watch again. Initial sync brought back all data.

22.41 Enduro 3 and Phone shortcut still not fixed

It's not like going to nav to enable / disable phone connection is not working, but it was one of the more useful shortcuts

I have identified two usability issues on my Garmin Enduro 3 that I hope you can improve in a future update.

1. HIIT workout limitation after Mixed Workout

When I use a Mixed Workout and then start a HIIT activity, I can no longer select the available HIIT workout modes, including HIIT Timers. It appears that these options are unavailable after using the Mixed Workout mode.

Please allow access to all HIIT workout modes (especially HIIT Timers) regardless of whether the previous activity was a Mixed Workout.

2. Exercise search in Garmin Connect

In the Garmin Connect app, when editing a workout, it is difficult to find the required exercise using the search function. The search seems to rely too heavily on exact exercise names, and users are unlikely to remember the official names of every exercise.

Please improve the exercise search by adding better keyword matching and associative search, so that relevant exercises can be found more easily even when the exact name is not entered.

Enduro 3: SUP profile omits Map data screen unless navigating a course

(recorded as SUP; relabeled to Kayak in Garmin Connect)

SUMMARY
On the Enduro 3 (SW 22.38), a Map data screen can be added to the
SUP activity profile, but it never appears in the data-screen loop
while the activity is recording free-roam (no course loaded). The
same Map screen renders normally in the Run profile's loop, and the
map DOES render inside the SUP activity when navigating a course —
so the map engine and map data are functional. The fault is limited
to free-roam map rendering in the SUP profile's data-screen loop. This

had worked previously without issue (about a year ago), not sure when

the issue developed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open SUP activity settings > Data Screens > Add New > Map.
2. Confirm the Map screen is present in the loop.
3. Go outdoors, acquire a full GPS fix, start the SUP activity
WITHOUT loading a course.
4. Cycle the data screens with the Up/Down buttons.

EXPECTED
The Map screen appears in the loop during free-roam recording, as it
does in the Run profile.

ACTUAL
The Map screen does not appear during free-roam recording. Only a
subset of the configured screens render (3 of the several built, a
mix of custom and default), and Map is consistently dropped. However,
navigating a course from within the same SUP activity (Up/Menu >
Navigation) renders the map correctly — isolating the issue to the
free-roam data-screen loop.

TROUBLESHOOTING ALREADY PERFORMED (issue persists through all,
on SW 22.38)
- Confirmed full GPS lock before starting.
- Verified GPS is enabled for the profile (not a battery-saver/
GPS-off mode).
- Removed and re-added the Map screen; reordered it to the top.
- Checked Garmin Connect for a config conflict; screens were built
on the watch only.
- Restored the SUP activity to default settings and rebuilt it.
- Deleted the SUP profile and recreated it from scratch.
- Confirmed Map renders free-roam in the Run profile on the same
watch (fault is profile-specific).
- Confirmed Map renders under course navigation within the SUP
activity (fault is specific to free-roam loop rendering).

IMPACT / REQUEST
The free-roam Map data screen is inaccessible in the SUP profile
despite rendering during navigation and in other profiles. Please
investigate as a firmware defect in the SUP profile's data-screen
handling and advise whether a fix is planned.

Changing activity theme

Is it possible to change the Map activity theme for an activity the same way you can for the maps app. I recently did an EMTB trip and the EMTB profile hides all the trails. It made it frustrating to try to navigate. The hike profile shows the trails and I'd just like to change the map theme to look like the hike profile.

XC Ski Power and how to remove

Does anyone know why XC Ski Power would automatically update when walking, and when I've never done Skiing before?

Is there any way to remove it?

In Garmin Connect, under Performance > FTP, it lists Cycling and Cross Country Skiing. Why not running?

I'm confused to why it even exists on my profile.

On 7th July 2026 i received brand new Enduro 3 as a replacement of Enduro 2, but I'm disappointed because in theory E3 promises a bigger battery, and now I see that its consumption is 3.5-4%/day with stock watch face.

Im new in the forum. On 7th July 2026 i received Enduro 3 as a replacement of Enduro 2, but I'm disappointed because in theory E3 promises a bigger battery, and now I see that its consumption is 3.5-4%/day without wifi, bluetooth, garmin share, gps, watch face (default one) - in general, all energy consumers are turned off, there is no backlight with gestures, Spo2 is on demand, the backlight is 20%, etc. With this same setup on Enduro 2, my consumption per day was 1.5% and reached 2% when I connected the watch via bluetooth to my phone 2-3 times a day. I have firmware 22.38 and I updated absolutely everything through Garmin Express, I have restored factory settings, I tried hard and soft reset before and nothing helps. In the end, the math on E3 doesn't work.
At 3.5%/day consumption I get 28.5 days with a 100% charged battery, and at 4%/day 25 days - the official specifications say 36 days, and my watch shows 40 days at 100% charge.
So far I have done one charging cycle from 20 to 100%, and I received the watch with 83% charge and discharged it with a flashlight for 1 day.

I accept any constructive criticism or if the problem is not only with me, is there a chance that there will be a patch fix for this soon?

Reboot starting an activity with music playing

This morning when in the gym, following a structured workout on my watch, I started music playing as usual (actually a podcast I had downloaded in YouTube Music) and then whent into the workout menu and selected my chosen workout for the day.

I was able to open the workout page but when I pressed the start button to get it ready to start the workout, the screen went blank and after a second or so the podcast stopped playing. About six or seven seconds later then blue triangle appeared on the screen and I realised my watch had rebooted.

I am on software 22.38, which I believe is the latest public release at the time of writing.

The watch has been OK since then but I would appreciate it if Garmin could either confirm they are working on a solution to this bug, or will investigate.

Connect not updating LTHR on my watch

Does anybody know what the normal behaviour is between Garmin devices with regard to HR and Zone settings synchronising between devices via Garmin Connect. I use an EDGE 840 for cycling training, and a watch for everything else...

I occasionally use my watch for cycling, but my primary training device is my EDGE 840. However, whenever the EDGE 840 detects a new LTHR, it doesn't update it on the watch, and neither do my cycling specific HR Zones.

Alone the mess of HR zones calculations on the EDGE device with Auto detection ON, is a topic itself, but I really would have thought things like LTHR would update automatically with FTP... Whenever the EDGE detects a change in LTHR, it applies the change but then the Zones (which are based on LTHR) go to crap.

22.38 refuses to stay connected to smart trainer

Today Enduro 3 running v22.38 stubbornly refused to work with Stages SB10 smart trainer. About 2 weeks ago it was working perfectly with the same bike. And was working with it for past 2 winter cycling seasons without an issue.

1. after initial adding of SB10 Smart trainer BLE sensor Enduro 3 says 'connected' in sensor properties

2. after starting training session it fails to find the trainer and connect

3. if I connect manually it works for a moment, then shows '--' in power, speed and cadence data fields

4. at this point it says either 'connected' but does not work or disconnected and refuses to connect

Tried adding/removing the trainer sensor, rebooting the watch a couple of times. Same symptoms every time.

Finally I've added Stages bike to Edge 1050 with latest firmware suspecting trainer to be the problem. Turns out SB10 just works as always with Edge 1050.

TL;DR; it kinda looks like latest Enduro 3 firmware update broken something with BLE sensors. I also had problems with Coros HRM strap with sensor constantly disconnecting.

Pace Pro Alerts problem - multiple alerts in a raw

I'm having trouble with the PacePro feature on my Enduro 3.

Very often, when I'm navigating on trails, I receive the same PacePro alert multiple times in a row for the same kilometer. The number of repeated alerts seems to increase with the distance covered. For example, at km 10 I'll get the same target pace alert 10 times in a row; at km 20, the watch will beep 20 times for the exact same alert.

As you can imagine, it's extremely annoying.

I have a 100km race in a few days and would love to use pace pro...but like this it would just make me crazy!

Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution?

BUG. Firmware 22.38 .Out of sync alert. Next set touch indication in the Strength activity

It seems that with the touchscreen, I cannot advance to the next step of a workout in the Strength activity created in Garmin Connect. The green line that I’m supposed to tap is missing. This only happens during steps categorized as Warm Up, Recovery, Rest, or Cool Down.

Additionally, the sound and vibration alerts for the transition to the next step sometimes trigger twice in a row.

This issue started with firmware 21.25 and is still not fixed in version 22.38. The changelog mentions that the out-of-sync sound issue has been fixed, but it has not.

Bug report - incorrect triggering of sleep mode

Enduro 3 on firmware 22.35. Steps to reproduce:

1) Wake up.

2) Manually end sleep focus mode.

3) While still in scheduled sleep period and not doing an activity, cover watch face with shirt sleeve. Wait for some time.

4) Watch returns to sleep mode unexpectedly and repeatedly.

I think if user manually ended sleep, it should not be re-enabled until the next cycle. This caused me to miss notifications.

Volume Controls Bug

Hello!

After recent update the volume controls UI was changed (I'm using firmware version 22.38). It's super buggy and slow. It's definitely a regression after UI change in a music controls. Please fix it OR maybe revert this change. It's supper annoying when you're running or cycling and you want to adjust volume and from time to time it doesn't work or it works with a huge delay.
