Hello everyone, I would like to bring up some issues that Garmin absolutely needs to resolve in this post. I’ve had the Enduro 3 for just under 24 hours, and it is definitely an exceptional watch. However, there are currently some bugs or missing features that should be addressed or implemented.
1. The roads on the maps currently have thick black lines along the edges. I read that this issue seems to be resolved with the new Beta, but since I haven’t installed it, I still want to report this problem.
2. The Around Me feature is missing, which is very convenient for navigation and is present on the Fenix 7 series or Enduro. The ability to use a cone on the map to view points of interest was very convenient and quick to use.
3. The lack of a trackback function in the navigation menu, where only the option to return by calculating a route is available. However, you can choose both methods by pausing the watch and selecting the TrackBack function. This makes it much more cumbersome, and having both options in the navigation menu would be appreciated.
4. The ability to disable seconds on the Endurance Watch Face.
5. Resolve a bug where, despite having the maps downloaded, the watch tells us to update them.
6. The ability to disable the Heading Bug during navigation (that would be the red arrow indicating the direction).
7. The option to remove the music screen during activities.
8: Ability to perform backup and restore.
UPDATE:
9: Paths on the TopoActive map are barely visible. I’m not sure if it’s just the design of the map, but the paths appear very thin and are hard to see clearly, especially when there is a white background underneath. It might also be a bug, but I prefer to report the issue.
10: The white cross on red background that appears when you swipe left after activating navigation doesn’t seem to work, and I’m not exactly sure what it’s for. I assume it’s meant to stop the navigation, but it doesn’t work whether I press and hold or click on it once.
I hope this post is seen and considered to resolve these issues.
