GPS Accuracy Issues on Enduro 3

Hi,

I've encountered an issue with the GPS accuracy on my Enduro 3 compared to the Garmin 7X Sapphire Solar. I have it set to record every second and use multi-band and all available satellites, but the recorded track is still less accurate than expected. I compared the track with another device (Garmin 7X Sapphire Solar), and the difference is noticeable. I'm not aware of any other settings that could improve GPS accuracy. The settings on both watches are the same.

Another question: Before the update, I liked the bold font in active mode. Now, it seems less prominent. Changing the font size in the system doesn’t help. Does anyone know how to revert the font back to the original bold style during activities?

One more thing, why doesn't the Enduro 3 have the option to back up and restore settings? Ideally, I would like to transfer the data field configuration from another watch, specifically from the Fenix 7X to the Enduro 3. Does anyone know if it’s possible to transfer data field settings between different Garmin watches?

The GPS inaccuracy occurs across the entire route, not just in a specific section. I can send GPX files for comparison and check the extent of the discrepancies. Is there anything you can do to resolve this?

Thank you for your help.

  • Yeah pace issues as well. Now I did some hikes and a lot of sun still 20 24% drain. I run in auto select bit better now but still way off. If you start moving quick downhill on trail and your turning quicker it’s bad it goes crazy on my wrist and the map is all over the place. If I’m on the ridge and walk straight on all multi is very accurate. But still some places is not the best idk I don’t believe it. I think pacing is wrong as well and sleep tracker. But here we talk GPS I don’t want me reported as someone did

  • I feel the same but overall I like still like the Enduro 3 and the battery life is still great on the All-Multiband setting just a shame the Auto select isn't as good as what it should be. Could anything have changed between the first release and later versions of the watch?

  • For me the pace on Auto Select was the same as the Epix pro on Auto Select (so far anyway but will test more)

  • Do you think that the hardware has changed? It is strange...

My GPS is always bad in the same points with multiband (there are tall buildings)... Perhaps it has improved in general, but I see an offset in urban areas (7-10 metres). Is it normal? Is this the standard of E3 or are the new Enduro 3 better?

  • I bought my enduro 3 in the middle of last fall. And I'm also disappointed about its gps accuracy and a lot of glitches that were there before all next firmware updates. I switched to E3 because I was to tired about battery life of apple watch ultra and I did not use all these microphones etc. therefore the choice was made towards the E3 but not phoenix 8. And now after all these glitches and gps inaccuraces I'm thinking to go hack to apple watch. :( that's pretty sad that this product doesn't worth it's money.
