GPS Accuracy Issues on Enduro 3

Hi,

I've encountered an issue with the GPS accuracy on my Enduro 3 compared to the Garmin 7X Sapphire Solar. I have it set to record every second and use multi-band and all available satellites, but the recorded track is still less accurate than expected. I compared the track with another device (Garmin 7X Sapphire Solar), and the difference is noticeable. I'm not aware of any other settings that could improve GPS accuracy. The settings on both watches are the same.

Another question: Before the update, I liked the bold font in active mode. Now, it seems less prominent. Changing the font size in the system doesn’t help. Does anyone know how to revert the font back to the original bold style during activities?

One more thing, why doesn't the Enduro 3 have the option to back up and restore settings? Ideally, I would like to transfer the data field configuration from another watch, specifically from the Fenix 7X to the Enduro 3. Does anyone know if it’s possible to transfer data field settings between different Garmin watches?

The GPS inaccuracy occurs across the entire route, not just in a specific section. I can send GPX files for comparison and check the extent of the discrepancies. Is there anything you can do to resolve this?

    Bigger size, bigger antenna, more power available, perhaps? Why would you expect better accuracy at a watch than at a phone?

    Yeah ok , but this is Garmin the last model .... they do this it is a GPS watch for only this, tested the phone in 3 different countries diff map apps. And always "X marks the spot" but pulling my phone while climbing ridges it is not good ... I wanted something solid. Why do I have 4 different GPS Modes , useless ... I tried all of them and I am off the path by a lot. I just want it simple when I walk/ ride to be on the path. Putting the best gps in open space idk... thing is the mode that selects the best option is slow responce.  I mean it is accurate at some places, I plotted it on diff map apps, here uin the UK the OSMAPS is the standard and it is accurate on them , but still has misses, the GARMIN map on my hand is way off the paths, when riding next to a lake I am in the lake ....

    As I wrote, there is no way a watch could be more accurate than a phone, or a handheld device (assuming a decent quality of the device). You can't fool physics. Expecting that the watch could match the phone is illusory.

    Besides the above mentioned factors (size, antenna, power), the phone can also use the GSM triangulation, and Wi-Fi AP mapping, for helping with the location accuracy.

    Yes your argument about the bigger , battery and antena is valid. I use the phone only in airplane mode. It is just all of the things. I must refresh the HR monitor, it works fine I tested it against a strap, but it lags, sometimes it freezes and i must shake my hand or move the watch to bite, the altimeter is always lagging, I must calibrate it all the time. Idk man I think there are softwarea and hardware stuff to be sorted, kinda regred I bought it. I wrote to Garmin about the battery, because first night charge with plug ( more than 15W as GARMIN specified on the user manual) 100% , slept 8 h , 3% down ... then by 10 am 4%(no phone no wifi etc brightness on 2)  , Idk it acts wierd. Garmin did not reply for more than 2 weeks still waiting. I was going to bother to return it but I am on a mountain trip that I cannot cancel and I need this tool. For my budget I gave a lot of money and now feel a bit ot let down.

    Tbf I regret I did not get the 7 but this .... I could knock 250 off it ... Solar PRO S 51 mm

    All of that sounds off-topic for this thread. There are a few other threads on this forum, better suitable for your complaints. You can also contact the Product Support directly, or request a refund, and buy a watch that meets your expectations better.
