New MapManerger+ TopoActive vs ENHANCED TOPO MAPS

Hi,

can someone please explain what the difference between the TopaActive map (free on default with the watch) and the enhanced topo maps ($49 per year) is.

Is the watch able to store full US and Canada on it?

I would like to know before considering a $49 expense.

Currently, only USA is part of the annual subscription.

But the thread was very helpful.

I think may proposals from the thread are very useful and should be implemented to make it an attractive product.

Buyers should be aware that all maps downloaded via Outdoor Maps+ automatically deactivate after the end of that annual plan’s renewal date. The maps will still be on your watch, but Garmin will prevent you from viewing them until you again renew your subscription.

Thus, it’s a perpetual $50/yr to keep using the Outdoor Maps+ product.
