Preset messages are received but custom messages are never received

Hi, new InReach Mini user here. I'm able to successfully send Preset messages to recipients. However, when I send a custom message to the same recipients the messages are never received.. The device seems to think they are sent. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If not on AT&T, what you're running into is likely unrelated. I would highly recommend checking for software updates on the inReach Mini using Garmin Express, then syncing with the inReach Sync Desktop App, then test out your messages.
