After v20.00 Software Update - Delays Experienced Between Button Presses and Menus

After upgrade to 20.00 I see usage about 12% for 16 hours.

It's higher than on 19.10 version.

UPDATED 8/14/2020:

If you watch shows 3.30(!) when going to Settings > About, please use Garmin Express to update it to version 3.40.

If you continue to have issues after going to Display v3.40, reset…

We are currently looking into a reports of abnormal battery drain and/or 3-7 second delays between button presses and moving in the menus.

How can I update my Display, if I do not have any "display" files in the fenix5 (not X) firmware folder?

On the version 20 the watch still crashes when following an old activity. Which means hard reset and loosing all the watch setup (data screen etc). A real shame after 3 years of software update on the Fenix 5.

In your Fenix5, do you have an exclamation point on your watch? Hold down the Menu button to go to "Setttings"->"About"->go down about 3-5 screens and it will list the versions you have installed. If there is an exclamation point, I think that means "out of date"

The Display 3.40 is unique to both the Fenix 5X/Tactix Charlie watches only.

I changed my watch face and now battery is back to normal never had any delay when pushing the buttons

Which watch face are you using now that saves battery ?

I use one of the watch face that is a Garmin one came with the watch, installed it on the 9th 100% at 21:00

now I have still 55% at 08:15 17th use no GPS but notification and all the other stuff
