After v20.00 Software Update - Delays Experienced Between Button Presses and Menus

After upgrade to 20.00 I see usage about 12% for 16 hours.

It's higher than on 19.10 version.

UPDATED 8/14/2020:

If you watch shows 3.30(!) when going to Settings > About, please use Garmin Express to update it to version 3.40.

If you continue to have issues after going to Display v3.40, reset…

UPDATED 7/14/2020:

We are currently looking into a reports of abnormal battery drain and/or 3-7 second delays between button presses and moving in the menus.

22.4% for 1.4 days with third-party watch face. Almost twice higher than 19.10. Additional problem twice higher step count !?

3.5 days, 2 x 8km runs, now at 52%. No wifi uploading, only BT. Auto update.

It wasn't like this before 20.0. Garmin had the same issue two years ago and quickly fixed it. The betas after the "stable" update was better in battery usage. So I'm waiting for the first 20.+ beta release ASAP. Garmin should check the step count also. It's useless tracker without this. Going back to Vivofit 3 until then.

I am seeing the same problem, charged yesterday dropped 20% to 80% in about 16 hours without use, "Chrono watchface". I have never had this type of drop before, fix it Garmin!!

The battery usage of version 20.0 is more than twice higher than 19.10. version. 4 days and 10 hours after fully charged the battery and hot restarted the watch, I have 17.5% battery. That means that the battery will be depleted in exactly 5 days without registering any activities!!! Same usage before lasted for 12 to 14 day depending on how many messages and phone calls I was receiving. I am using third party watch face, now and before, and the average consumption now is 0.8%/hour. Garmin had similar issue some two years ago but had fixed it in the first beta. GARMIN FIX THE BATTERY ISSUE!!!
