After upgrade to 20.00 I see usage about 12% for 16 hours.
It's higher than on 19.10 version.

UPDATED 8/14/2020:
If you watch shows 3.30(!) when going to Settings > About, please use Garmin Express to update it to version 3.40.
If you continue to have issues after going to Display v3.40, reset…
UPDATED 7/14/2020:
We are currently looking into a reports of abnormal battery drain and/or 3-7 second delays between button presses and moving in the menus.
On your Fenix 5X/Tactix Charlie, when you go…
I see about 22% in 24h without any activity.
Me too, more battery consumption with 3rd party watchface and lag when press buttons.
Full charge, hold about 3 days. on 19.10 it was about 10 days., 3 time more battery drain.
Garmin, please do a fix ASAP !!!!
It's happens to them every other version. Literally. Very sad
Something is wrong with the 3rd party watchface. Nonsuch experience here. After 36hrs and 1hr running activity with GPS this morning I'm now at 81%. Menu speed speed normal if not a bit faster than normal. I'm using standard face with baro, week run distance, date, and sunrise. Moving second hand.
The issue s it's doesn't matter what 3rd party watchface, even with those that made by Garmin , but not preloaded with watch. And according to the previous versions, it's nothing to do with those watchfaces, it's bug in version of firmware.
I have also noticed faster-than-normal battery drain (have not measured, but estimating 50% faster drain), and noticeable lag after button press, especially to start an activity. I use GearMin as my primary watchface.
Battery drain went up horribly for me. Drained from 100% to 4% in under 48 hours with no workouts. With previous firmware the battery would last a week with 6 workouts.
My battery usage is about the same as 19.10
In daily usage, with standard garmin clockface, no ciq apps, bluetooth notifications on all seems to be ok.
In sportmode with gps and cheststrap it is to high (10% / hour)
I suspect ciq apps are to blame for battery drains. 3rd party apps is just an other garmin feature that doesn’t really work and is better not used.
Really strange, Never had battery drains problems.
Mine Fenix5 Saphire from march 2007 is about ~5%/24h with Rails watchface, always on seconds and HR. ~6%/h during GPS activity
Are there hardware differences regarding the release date ?
