Fenix 5x Western Europe map will not update, its showing Western Europe 2.0 is available for update but I keep getting there was a error installing this update, I know this is an issue previously reported on this forum and fixed for others, any ideas?

I Have the same Issue What I did to try to solve it . All wihout any result Tried the update on 4 different Computers with different operating systems and new installed Garmin express deleted the V3 Maps from the watch master resetted fenix 5x Restarted Fritzbox Removed all Virus scanners and Firewalls Tried sw 11.00 and 11.56 the map files are not downloaded to my different PCs no results
Phonecall to Garmin support - no result Told me to send the brandnew watch to them i dont want to do that because i dont expect any result out of this Seems they dont know any solution
Called Garmin support DK a few days ago. Guy responding had not heard of the problem, but noted and understood issue. Put me on hold for a few minutes, then came back and told me it is a known issue that will be solved in a future software update.
Out of the blue I had an email from Garmin Support today basically saying "please try again now". So I got mildly excited that the problem might be fixed however I just get the same error as before so nothing appears to have changed.
The email started by saying they were contacting me "regarding a case we recently closed for issues due to updating the preloaded European cycle maps". I'm not sure why they would have closed the issue as it's certainly not fixed! It looked like a bulk email so maybe other people got the same thing.
Still no updates about it. I contacted Garmin support again, the operator told me that he has no idea about when it will be fixed. It's more than 3 months that the issue is present, it's really frustrating...
I just contacted the Garmin Assistance in Italy. The operator told me the issue is acknowledged and they are working to solve in with a next release (map release? Garmin Express release? Fenix fw release? That was not clear) anyway according to the Garmin express log you can find in C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Logs\Express\ExpressDetailed.log, the matter is the Garmin Express cannot find the device when it's time to copy the newly downloaded maps.
