What is your problem? You are willing to accept that your watch, that is perfectly capable of getting the update and using the features won't get them because some big corporate decided so. How is that…

Dear Garmin Team, I totally agree with the below comments: Since I just bought a "Fenix 5 Plus Saphire" end of March 2019 for 800€ I would be really disappointed to not benefit in any way from the new…
Is there any hope to get an official answer to this question? Are we going to get any of the new metrics on our watch?
If no, I wonder who is going to buy F5+ now that a cheaper watch does much more things, but I'm sure some people have thought about that already.
No, but the 945 does. And is cheaper. Besides, the 245 offers many features the 5+ doesn't, while it could as they are only software. For premium buyers it might feel like a punch in the face (not judging if it is or not here).
It depends on what you need and use. If you want one watch for both sports and dress / official function watch, Fenix still win against plastic 945. But if you already have dress watch and aim only for sports metric, 945 is your choice
I found this today witch proves that Garmin has added firstbeat features to its premium devices in the past...
Lest hope for a good news
Why is no one from Garmin commenting on this at all? It doesn't seem like a very difficult question to answer, you either push a software update that the watch is capable of handling, or you don't. As a F5+S user this 945 release with software updates that could have been pushed to the F5+ platform pisses me off.
