Firmware 23.20

The problem has not been solved. Everything is set correctly, but I see that the route through the course is not displayed in Garmin Connect and on Strava. Pleas e give the work arround to 

 solve the  problem. The only thing I see is the score card.

    Have you changed anything in the setting? Or is it just a miracle?

  • I did a restart which brought back the activity tracking for one game. It then stopped working for my next two rounds then miraculously fixed itself. 

    Why? I have no idea. 

  • It repeats. After the software update, two rounds were recorded as activity. Not anymore after that. Garmin will have to come up with a solution. It's taking too long.

  • I’ve had 5 or 6 rounds successfully recorded as an activity then suddenly stopped again yesterday. 
    Between this and the issues with my R10, I’m actively looking for alternatives. 

  • You're a lucky one. I haven't been able to play many rounds yet due to the weather, but who knows.....
    It is unknown whether it is an exemplary problem or a general problem when rounds are not recorded.
    Garmin support is no longer heard from. If necessary, I will make use of the legal guarantee.

  • I've been playing at least once a week and so far had only two rounds not being properly recorded. So my guess is that only a few of us are really struggling.

    The two different major issues are

    1-activity not recorded/uploaded and

    2-crash as soon as starting a round

  • My watch is now recording activity while I golf only every second round or so. 

    I have also had the same calendar notification every morning report for 29 days. Apparently my friend has her birthday every day for a month!

    I’m starting to wonder whether these problems are a communication problem between the watch and the phone app. 

  •  We believe this has been resolved with the latest software release. If you haven’t updated to the latest software version please do so, and test to see if you are still seeing this situation. If you have downloaded the latest software and are still experiencing this situation, please start a new thread.
