Firmware 23.20

The problem has not been solved. Everything is set correctly, but I see that the route through the course is not displayed in Garmin Connect and on Strava. Pleas e give the work arround to

 solve the  problem. The only thing I see is the score card.

    I’m one of the users who got Garmin to look into this. I updated my watch last night and today, for the first time in over 3 months, my activity recorded along with my golf round details.

    The second round of golf after the new update also worked but another round today only produced a score card with no activity recorded. 

    This is not acceptable.

    Very disappointing that the new firmware does not solve the problem. Indeed not acceptable.  Garmin must solve problem! Unfortunately I cannot test due to the weather. But as soon as I can I will share my experiences.

    TBH, I think the last update was a software update, and Garmin had suggested that a new firmware update is coming that would fix the problem. 

    it would be nice if Garmin could communicate with us better.

    Thanks for the explanation. I didn't know the difference between software and firmware.  Anyway, I understand that the firmware has a much deeper influence on the functioning of the watch.

    The problem occurred after system update 23.20. So you can assume that the latest system update would fix the problem.

    My Garmin service center was just talking about that software update in Q1 26.

    My center said the same thing. I kinda assumed the latest software update would fix it but alas, no.

    Update (but nothing new). Response from my service centre why the problem was still not fixed.

    "Our software team states the following: We are currently investigating an issue with the same symptoms similar to what you are reporting. We are currently gathering information for our engineering team as they try to find the cause of the problem so we can implement a fix"

    It is very annoying that they still haven't fixed this issue.
    

    Please, please get it fixed. 
    

    For those that have this problem - i (sadly) turn off and then restart my watch before every golf game, if i do this than most of the time it records as an activity (it doesnt always work).     Had a blue triangle of death mid round today and lost all the shot tracking for the 1st nine.

    For some bizarre reason, my watch has again started recording activity after each round.
