Shots not being tracked!

Hi All

I played yesterday, my 6th or 7th round played wearing my Approach 62, and none of the shots have been tracked. the score has been recorded, including Fairways hit, Putts taken and GIR, and all synced to the apps - but I can't see the map of my shots taken.

I could understand if one or two didn't record, but I've never had more than 1 or 2 missing before and this time none of them are showing at all.

Anyone know what this might be down to?

thanks in advance

Cliff

  • Hi Chris, thanks for the

    reply.

All the settings and updates were on. I think what might have been the case, is that at the start of the round for whatever reason, it didn’t pick up my shot - but I could have clicked “last shot” in the sub menu of the course map section on the watch, and it would have then prompted the sensors.

    Does that seem right?

It doesn’t quite explain why it wasn’t picking it up immediately and automatically, but I’ll try this on my next game and see of it solves the issue

  • Hi Chris,

I'm having this exact same issue.  All of my settings are correct as listed above and shot tracking worked for the first 10 rounds that I used the watch. I also have activity tracking turned on.  For some reason, the shot tracking where the app shows you each shot's distance, the club you used, etc. stopped appearing three rounds ago. Now all I can see in the app is my scorecard for the last three rounds.  I only bought the watch for the activity tracking and getting feedback on distances each of my shots went and the ability to review my rounds on the golf app afterwards.  I've even tried resetting the watch, deleting the app and reinstalling, and pretty much everything else that was mentioned in every other blog.  Not sure what the deal is but really would like some help with this one please, otherwise the watch was a waste of $500...

I am sending you a private message to gather additional details.

  • My s62 did the same thing last night. After each ball contact it would ask me what club I used. Caddy was recommending clubs for me the entire round. When I finished the round. I hit save and all I have is shots per hole. No map with distances. No record of clubs used. Just final number of strokes per hole. I rebooted watch and phone. Still nothing. Watch has been working flawless up until then. Indo not use club sensors

  • Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Golf app? You will not lose any scorecards or data. Once you reinstall the app, log back in. If you still do not see the shots on the scorecard, please highlight my name and send me a private message.

  • I tried that and it didn’t do anything. My three scorecards are missing and somehow the watch magically started tracking my shots again during my last round.

  • Garmin-Rob I am not sure how to highlight and private message. I picked on you name and said acess denied. In any event. I deleted app and re installed. It did not repair the round all club and map data is missing

  • Garmin-Rob another thing to note. If I look at my S62 face. It shows the missing data round as my last round played. With score

  • I am not sure how to highlight and private message
