Shots not being tracked!

Hi All

I played yesterday, my 6th or 7th round played wearing my Approach 62, and none of the shots have been tracked. the score has been recorded, including Fairways hit, Putts taken and GIR, and all synced to the apps - but I can't see the map of my shots taken. 

I could understand if one or two didn't record, but I've never had more than 1 or 2 missing before and this time none of them are showing at all.

Anyone know what this might be down to?

  • Did you download the software to your laptop or computer? I did that. It installed updates. Loaded course updates and syncd the watch to clear the course mapping issue. Mine works great again

    I hadn't tried that; did you sync the watch with your computer after downloading the software with the charging cord? 

  • Yes I did. It will not erase any of your saved rounds

  • Hi. I have the same problem. The watch only ask witch club I used at the first shot from tee. So all my driver/first shots is tracked from tee to the green. My old s10 worked perfectly, so a little bit strange that a s62 can’t do the same. Any suggestions?

    I still have not been able to resolve the issue.  I followed Garmin Support's recommendation and downloaded the updated software to my laptop, synced the watch, unpaired and then restarted everything and it still did not work.  The next suggestion they gave me was to turn off the Garmin Golf app when i was playing, which I cannot do on my phone without deleting the app...the next suggestion i got from Garmin support was to try turning off my phone the next time i played, which is kind of a joke.  Interestingly, mine still records every shot i take and keeps score accurately, it simply will not display the shot tracking like it did the first 15 times i played when using it. 

    I purchased my s62 through my country club, and they're reaching out to the vender to exchange the watch.  Fingers crossed a new watch works. 

    Good luck with yours; i hope i am the exception, not the rule.  

  • sorry, you wear the watch on your left hand and your right handed to you shoot right?  I always wear my watches on my left wrist, im right handed, but i shoot left.  wondering if there is a chance because i shoot left, i need to wear the watch on my right wrist.  I think the watch allows the selection of either wrist and i don't recall needing to wear the watch on a specific wrist based on which way i shoot.  Thanks

  • I just bought the watch and on the first round it knew I was at hole 10 and even showed the right map on the watch. All shots were asked but none are showing in the Garmin map.

    I seem to be having the same issue. My S62 doesn't seem to pick up shots in the fairway after my initial shots off the tee. My S62 also seems to get lost and not pick up data on entire holes. I did a resync and it did do an update. I hope that resolves the issue, but I'm skeptical. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.
