Shots not being tracked!

Hi All

I played yesterday, my 6th or 7th round played wearing my Approach 62, and none of the shots have been tracked. the score has been recorded, including Fairways hit, Putts taken and GIR, and all synced to the apps - but I can't see the map of my shots taken.

I could understand if one or two didn't record, but I've never had more than 1 or 2 missing before and this time none of them are showing at all.

Anyone know what this might be down to?

thanks in advance

Cliff

  • Hi,

just wondering if this is happening only on courses that you have downloaded for offline access?

  • I also got my S62 in January... was tracking perfectly.. then stopped... then tracked again for a few rounds and now I cant see any of my shots just score cards... for 650 euro I expected a whole lot better.. it is clearly a software issue on garmins end if everyone is experiencing the same issues.

I see they have the new R10 shot tracer out which looks like a great product. But I feel would have endless software issues if the simple shot tracer on the s62 has so many problems..

  • So very frustrating!  Mine just stopped tracking as well. I have reset the watch and everything. It only asks me 1x after I tee off what club I used. So I have 400-500’ drives since it’s not asking me along the way. Virtual caddie has worked just fine though. Garmin support was awful. No advice at all.

  • To take a further look from your end on the issue:

    • Make sure that the hole has transitioned, showing the proper hole # and front/middle/back distances before teeing off on each hole.
    • If using club prompt, make sure to select the club when prompted after a shot is detected throughout the round from the tee box to the green.
