Hello!
Does anybody know if there's a protective case for the R50 available?
Garmin or Third Party vendor - anything would be fine
Thanks!

The only option from Garmin is the case included in-box, as the unit is designed to be set up without any additional protective accessories.
I have submitted a ticket for this request for those wanting options for protective accessories that can be attached while using the features on the Approach R50.

that case looks clear so I'm guessing it won't need holes? However, that's way too expensive. I don't think that should cost more than $50. It's just plastic
Probably the most reasonable common sense option https://globalgolftechsolutions.com.au/products/garmin-r50 you can also get a Screen protector glass from amazon - there are several options
Saw this protective case on Amazon recently. Pretty pricey at $195. Was curious if anyone has tried this? Any misreads, especially on full wedge shots!

You can use a piece of plexiglass to cover the front. It works. I think it would be near impossible for a ball to hit the top screen. Toe shots are low and hosel shots go off on a 45 degree angle.
I have an 1/8 inch thick piece of clear acrylic plexi there now. But it often doesn’t read full shots with a 9 iron or wedges. Was hoping for a better solution.
I agree, toe shots off the end of the club are the only real way to hit the R50.
