I have been using the R10 for a couple days now and my distances seems way off. Seems very club is approx 20yards short from the range? Is there anything that needs to be done with calibration?

I'm a new owner couple days. Every club is ridiculously short. On real course I bomb 250 on bad hits....I struggle to get 180yds reading. All the irons seem like they are read like an 8I. Can't get…
Similiar problem for me, been using for a couple of days and all clubs are only recording 2/3 distance, checked the setup with a tape measure and spirit level and still the same problem. I have tried inside…
I want to love this thing had such high hopes and as is has become an enormous let down.
What I posted was outdoors. Indoors is still around 80 yrs total. Will post a screen grab later today …
For those who are still having issues with short distances indoors.. what are your ceiling heights?
Maybe it has something to do with a lower ceiling?
Outdoors into a net. Running a club short.
What difference did you get? I am on 3.7 software but couldn't see any difference in the room.
Ball to the net 8.5 ft, sensor to the ball 7ft. It was calibrated before use.
I did I could actually play Home Tee Hero on my course and got my normal score. Before if I hit a thin shot it would go maybe 20 yards.
Same results for me with 3.7. Can't get a PW over 80 yards no matter how hard I swing. I have 9ft to net and have tried r10 at 7 8 and 9 feet to ball no difference. My spin with a 22 hybrid is reported as 6000 which seems high. Some shots that I know are pure and would go at least 180 yards on the course are registering as 130 yards. It's a good few club lengths short.
Do any of you think a net versus an impact screen makes a difference in results? Or net tension?
This is exactly my experience with the device. On 3.7;using a net outside
Thank you Garmin-Rob for the 3.7 Version of software. I just tested it indoor, it is reading better than the 3.6 with the driver.
There is no more 5000+ RPM backspin with Driver. The spin came down to 2900-3600 with my 99 Club speed, 146 Ball Speed, giving 238, 253 carry and total distance. The launch direction is also better. I really wish the backspin rate could come down a little bit more, my driver backspin measured with flightscope X3 is around 2200-2800 RPM, giving the same carry but 264 total.
Please keep updating us the R10 users with the better version of software. Thanks.
EDIT: After 100 more balls with driver, most of them still have 3400+ backspin.
Even with the high-toe hit the backspin is still very high.
Backspin is still the issue here.
Ravi. I have not had any luck with 3.7. The day before on 3.6 I was getting 230-240 drives on avg and since 3.7 havent seen a drive over 220. The same impact is on my 3W...far worse than 3.6. Hate to be that guy but its true.
Below I could get well over 200 (I'm not a good golfer so yeah a lot of bad shots too) but have several 240+ carries on 3.6
Next day on 3.7 here is my first batch of driver strikes to my dismay far shorter: My swing speed is between 95-100mph so this is just off especially when getting solid sweet spot strikes not getting even 220....
This carried on through the entire weekend no single drive over 220.... sigh.
However that said Irons seems to be better on ball flight... for example now an errant shot in the trees I can carry a tree with a short iron without it smacking into the tree....
