R10 distances seem off.

I have been using the R10 for a couple days now and my distances seems way off. Seems very club is approx 20yards short from the range? Is there anything that needs to be done with calibration?

No- like the FAQ says above- coming to Android soon. I'm on 2.1 on Android and no later version available at the moment.

@Garmin-Rob this is the POV from my unit . Distances from ball - unit and ball to screen etc are all good and I still get much less distances indoors Do you think covering the roof with some house wrap will help? The AC ducting could be a problem?

What a difference the update has made for me. 8 iron now at 150-160 7 at 165-175 5 iron has gone from 160 before the update to 190-200 and my drives finally going the correct distances of 260-285. Great job Garmin.

Agree. I was a pissed off customer. Even flight shape is fixed. I'm pretty happy with this update. A few more miss reads than usual and some with low launch angle but mostly good. Just happy a push draw is a push draw now and not a giant slice

This is similar to my issue. Accept this is a monster shot for a sw.

Can you post stats for indoor and outdoor shots with sw. I would be interested interested swe the difference in aoa and spin.

I have just taken my R10 out to the range for the first time and I had the same problem. Every club was well short. For example I hit my driver 230-240 metres and it was coming in at 200. I hit my pw 105-110 and it was coming in at 90 m.

I triple checked the monitor’s placement and moved its distance forward and back a couple of times. No change.

I played the tournament on the golf sim. It was a joke. I couldn’t make the par 4s in 2 let alone the par 5s.

Calibration is definitely off. Any suggestions?

@Garmin-Rob I demo’d the unit & HTH to a friend of mine (6 handicap) outside at a range and it drove him bananas. Unit was level (horizontal & vertical). All his high lofted club shots were way short. He was clearly hitting 125-135 yards high and straight, the Unit was returning about 70-85 yards. He couldn’t even get over the water at Hole 6 on the Augusta Par 3 course. ‘This is a joke, I’ll just practice without it’ was his reaction….

I would love to see why the guys on YouTube demoing this unit never had these issues. My unit is awful. Can't carry 100yards

Are you on the new 3.7 software? Big difference for me.
