I have been using the R10 for a couple days now and my distances seems way off. Seems very club is approx 20yards short from the range? Is there anything that needs to be done with calibration?

I'm a new owner couple days. Every club is ridiculously short. On real course I bomb 250 on bad hits....I struggle to get 180yds reading. All the irons seem like they are read like an 8I. Can't get…
Similiar problem for me, been using for a couple of days and all clubs are only recording 2/3 distance, checked the setup with a tape measure and spirit level and still the same problem. I have tried inside…
I want to love this thing had such high hopes and as is has become an enormous let down.
You are absolutely correct. This may be an advantage for some who want to improve their game. If you can learn to strike the ball better on the Garmin R10, then your real life play will improve significantly.
Your setup sounds pretty much perfect. Do you have a photo of your setup? Bare concrete flooring?
Is the indoor ball speed everyone's getting accurate??? I logged a ticket for my replacement unit as well some days back. The said they will revert back with some fix but no word so far. Indoor distances are still lacking big time. Cant get a ball speed of more than 102 mph with my 7I even if i sweet-kill it. When i took the unit outdoors i was getting 115-117mph ball speeds and accurate distances. Something is really off when using indoors.... (i use +1" clubs)
For me, this thing does not like my Pitching Wedge. It says I am only hitting it 110-125yds but I am landing it at the 150 yard markers. This is out at the driving range. It catches my long irons/woods fine though. Anyone else have this happen?
That’s exactly my 8 iron. 150 yards on course and 110-125 on the Garmin.
Driver on the Garmin averages 238 yards with longest drive 250 yards.
What driver distances are you seeing on the Garmin?
My driver is going ~280yds which is about right. I hit a high ball so I'm wondering if the R10 doesn't like that with my PW. Are your other irons fine?
I have yet to try this on E6. This is all on the Garmin app. I'll steal my wife's ipad next time and see what happens with the distances.
All of my irons are consistently short. I tend to get high launch angles even with a negative angle of attack. Apex heights seem to be higher than average so this might be the reason for shorter distances.
Driver angle of attack is 3 degrees and launch angle of 13.5 degrees. Driver seems to be more acceptable than the irons.
Have you tried E6? Any difference?
Just got my R10 a few days ago. After clearing enough space in the garage & setting up an impact screen I gave it a go.
7 Iron is reading 110yds :-( , should be 150.I then read that the R10 doesn't like concrete floors- it reflects the radar signal.
My garage is partly covered with an old carpet. Before I go off and get a floor covering can anyone say this has helped in their setup.
I'm also going to take it to the range later and test it outdoors.
BUT if it cant work indoors then that's a deal breaker
