Radar is too cold

Hello,

since two weeks when using the device as simulator, after 10 seconds I get the message "The radar is too cold. It must warm up to over -4F (-20C) before the radar can be used again.

However, I am not in antartica. Its +28 Celsius now and still summertime.

This message pops up immediately and I cannot use the radar features at all.

The device is updated.

If you are seeing a message of 'The radar is too cold. It must warm up to over -4F (-20C) before the radar can be used again' on your G80, please place the unit in a room temperature location to warm it up.

If you store the G80 in a warm location and the unit wasn't previously cold and you feel you are seeing this message in error, please contact Garmin Product Support directly to discuss further solutions.

I have similar issues. I have followed all instructions from the recommended solutions below/above, but nothing fix it.

Hi ...

As mentioned before, I have tried all the recommendations in https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=y6Ax1d8KM34MulWAg9wiX6&productID=597253&searchQuery=radar%20&tab=topics, BUT none is working.

I have contacted the product support group or service center in Jakarta/Indonesia (https://maps.app.goo.gl/YPczJXZ2RE1U3KZG9) and the only response they have this product (Garmin Approach G80) has been discontinued or service out of date and they have to returned the device back to me.

This is the detail of my device: Garmin Approach G80, Golf GPS, ASIA, A03346 with SN : 682001412.
