On an Garmin Edge 850, when a logo with transparent areas is rendered on a dark background, white artifacts appear along the edges between the colored and transparent regions. It appears as if anti-aliasing and/or alpha blending has been performed assuming a white background, even though the actual background is dark.
The same issue can be observed with fonts. When black text is rendered on a dark background, similar light-colored artifacts appear along the character edges, again suggesting that anti-aliasing or alpha blending is not being applied against the actual background color.
Sample images will follow in the comments.
