Weird bitmap font effects... is there a limit I need to know about?

Hi,

Experimenting with some font ideas and see the following when building for Epix (yes, I know, but I did say "experimenting"):

But the exact same code and assets display perfectly when compiled for 920xt - which is identical screen resolution, is CIQ1 and is basically very, very similar.

Anybody any clues what could be causing the font to go nuts? Is there an upper limit on size, for example?

Agreed. Over 256px is a problem on all devices... any font at all is a problem on Epix.

I'm experiencing this as well when generating large fonts in BMFont, ones that are over 256px in height.

EDIT (Or I would if the bloody forum would let me) to change that to "Two characters for each one".

It looks like it is putting two lines of text together to make each single line in the display.

All Apps too.

It appears to be doing some weird doubling up... using the exact same font and code, it looks like I have twice as many lines of text as I do as the font image has been scaled down and then merged to give four characters in the space of 1.

Hi

Yes I confirm on EPIX all face don't work correctly on SDK4 all was good on SDK3.
