VSCode Text Completion Failed: Null pointer exception

I'm getting notifications in VSCode about errors. Inspecting more yields the following error:

[Error - 12:54:57 PM] Request textDocument/completion failed.

Message: Internal error.

Code: -32603

java.util.concurrent.CompletionException: java.lang.NullPointerException

(I have the full stack trace but can't share it because the call to post this message is getting blocked by CloudFlare).

I have a stack trace to share, since embedding this inside the body of my post as text was flagging some CloudFlare protection in the forums.

But I have no code of my own to share, since this doesn't implicate a specific part of my code, and I'm not sure what exactly was happening at the time the error occurred.

Either way, I hope a null pointer is easy enough to track down given the internal stack
