Uploading a new app or updating an existing app leads to some kind of timeout on the Connect IQ website

Almost everytime I upload a new app or when I update an existing one my browser Chrome or Edge runs into some kind of timeout and I end up with the message below.

It most likely has to do with .iq file size. The size of my .iq files is typically >= 35MB.

I'm having this issue for quite some time and was hoping that it gets fixed eventually.
I know that at least one other developer has the same issue.

When I upload a new app the upload is discarded. I have to workaround the issue by uploading a smaller version of the app by excluding target devices.
Then when I do the update with the actual .iq file including all target devices I run into the same error message but the upload succeeds nevertheless.

I can PM one of my .iq files if this helps debugging the issue.

  • I do have the same issue everytime I update an app, but I don't need to use a workaround,

    actually when I have this window, I reload the App page and get the "2hours" message and I receive the update on my phone.

    I have to edit right after to add the changement.

    but yes everytime I have to wait in order to be sure it worked.
