System Alterts are not displayed on 3rd party watch faces

I am facing an issue with 3rd party watch faces and systems alert. I have the Sunset alert enabled and when using 3rd party watch face it does not display the alert. It just vibrates, wakes up the watch but nothing is displayed. On the stock face it shows 00:10:00 to sunset. I am using a Garmin Epix Gen 2 Sapphire edition.

    I see this all the time and have been since the Epix2 was released.  Basically any alert that gets displayed on a CIQ WF doesn't get displayed.  You do get an alert chime/vibration so you look at your watch and there is nothing being displayed.

    You actually can see what the alert is if you've set up a hot-key for Screen Shot.  Immediately after you hear the alert, take a screen shot.  It then displays the alert message :(

    Pretty sure this is an Epix bug rather than a CIQ bug.
